Last September, I shared that something new was coming.

On 1 October, I opened my Etsy shop. I always meant to write about it here, but between learning new skills, creating products, working with an illustrator, and figuring everything out along the way, writing for this space kept getting pushed to the bottom of my to-do list.


The funny thing is that the whole project started with a photograph I took in Amsterdam.


It was one of those early mornings when the sky turned pink, and everything looked a little magical. I took a photo, thought nothing more of it, and carried on with my day.

A while later, that same photograph became my very first bookmark.

Books and photography have been part of my life for years, so bringing the two together felt surprisingly natural. One idea led to another, and before I knew it, I was creating bookmarks, prints, and stickers, and working with an illustrator to bring some of my ideas to life.

Now, many months later, I finally feel like everything has come together. Alongside the blog, there is now a photography section and a shop, so all the things I enjoy creating finally have a home in one place.

Going forward, I hope to share more photographs, bookshop visits, new projects, and whatever else catches my attention along the way.


I'm happy to be writing here again, and I'm looking forward to sharing it all with you.

More Than Just a Photograph

In my previous post, I shared a few photos of my favorite bookstores in Amsterdam.


This time I‘ll be sharing three different bookstores in three different cities in the Netherlands. I’ve hand-picked these places to inspire joy and I’d love for you to experience that joy too… and also serve as some travel inspiration!

. It’s such a beautiful place to sit and have good coffee while being surrounded by beautiful books.

 is a dream destination for those who love both history and reading, preferably together. Oh, and of course coffee.

Entering a bookstore is like entering a different new world. Choosing the right book can transport you to all kinds of places.
